What's the last movie you saw?

I couldn't post yesterday because of some problems with the site.

On the 30th, I watched "I Trapped the Devil". A couple visits - unannounced - the man's brother for Christmas. Right off the bat, his brother is acting strange/spooked and tells them they can't stay there. They end up staying anyway, and at some point they find out that he's holding a man in a locked room in his basement. He claims the man is the devil. This is a very slow burner where you keep expecting something to happen. It's suspense way more than horror. Not too bad overall, but not something you'd watch more than once.

On the 31st I was planning on watching Halloween (1978), but my Shudder subscription had ended. So I watched Flight 7500 instead. That was surprisingly creepier than "I Trapped the Devil" as you have no idea what the hell is going on on that plane. Turned out to be a variation on a known them. Again, not too bad, but likely not something I'd watch again.

Kristy

A college student is the only student left on campus during Thanksgiving weekend. The only others are a couple of security guards and the groundskeeper. She goes to a gas station to get some snacks and runs into a shady young woman who gives her the attitude. When she gets out, a car's headlights blind her and the car leaves; we can see that there are several people in it (it's a late-70s Dodge, I think a Monaco like the cops used). As she's driving back, the car is stopped further up the road and she honks at them and they try to block her, but she gets away. Later they make their way to campus and the chase is on. From then on, it's a nonstop game of cat and mouse as she tries to survive. Despite the used storyline, I really enjoyed this movie.

The Godfather. Not much need to be said about this one, I guess. I think I saw this as a kid. Been a while.
